A B Canham & Son has extended its award-winning run in the much-respected NHBC Pride in the Jobs awards, with two members of our loyal construction team acknowledged in what is the event’s 40th anniversary year. Lee Bates and Simon Bettridge were both selected as Pride in the Job Quality Award winners for their site management at Empire Park in Greenhithe (Lee) and Ellesmere in Hollingbourne (Simon).

As South East award winners, both Simon and Lee go on to compete for NHBC’s ‘Seals of Excellence’ and ‘Regional Awards’ – the next recognition level up that is reserved exclusively for the very best Site Managers – with judging to commence as soon as it is feasible.

Winning a Pride in the Job Quality Award is a magnificent achievement, as just 450 Site Managers from an initial pool of around 11,000 achieve this accolade. To have two winners in the same year is testament to the calibre of our workforce, plus it also adds to our NHBC Pride in the Job track record, with two award wins in 2019 and others throughout AB Canham & Son’s history.
