Pride in the Job Award Wins June 2021
Entering into the respected NHBC Pride in the Job Awards is a way for A B Canham & Son to gain independent validation for its construction excellence. Therefore, we are delighted that in 2021, two of our Site Managers have again won top awards.
Simon Bettridge has been selected as a Pride in the Job Quality Award winner for his site management skills at the Hillside Park development in Linton Hill. This is the second year running that Simon has triumphed at the awards, after success in 2020’s ‘Seal of Excellence’ category for the South East.
Success was also forthcoming for Martin Barth, who has secured a Pride in the Job Quality Award for his site management work at the Boughton Place development in Boughton Monchelsea. This year’s award win is not the first for Martin either. In 2019, he scooped two Pride in the Job Awards for his work at the same development – winning both the ‘Seal of Excellence’ and the best ‘Small Housebuilder’ title within the London & South East region.
“It speaks volumes that A B Canham & Son’s Site Managers consistently win at the annual NHBC Pride in the Job Awards,” comments Michael Canham. “As well as an unbiased endorsement of our construction quality, the fact that the same Site Managers are repeatedly recognised illustrates that we are disciplined in maintaining site standards on long-term projects, and that our employees love their jobs – repaying us with loyalty and hard work, year after year.”
The NHBC Pride in the Job Awards involve an independent panel of judges who are dedicated to recognising brilliance in on-site management, construction and new homes delivery. Every year thousands of Site Managers enter but only a handful walk away with the top awards.
